Toronto Old City Hall – HVAC Upgrade
Arguably, one of Toronto’s most iconic buildings, Old City Hall has been a part of Toronto’s skyline since 1899. Since 2006, TMP have provided ongoing design and construction phase services for this multi-phased complex HVAC improvement. Heating and Cooling are based on Enwave steam and Deep Lake chilled water respectively and the new ventilation infrastructure utilizes pathways conceived in the original building for air flow. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada, this heritage landmark is one of Toronto’s architectural gems. This piece of art structure is covered with an interior of mosaic patterned flooring and marble covered walls, making it Toronto’s oldest and finest.
